The legal team at Aaron Engle Law had a great time at the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington’s 9th annual Walk, Run & Roll 5K on Saturday, April 27. The event – which took place at the Green Lake Community Center in Seattle – draws over 400 individuals of all abilities to support a good cause and help break the silence on brain injuries.

In addition to sponsoring this event, we have been raising money for brain injury survivors, their loved ones and their caregivers. We are pleased to announce that we have exceeded our fundraising goal! Because there can never be enough support for this cause, our page will still be accepting donations until the end of May.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), traumatic brain injury is a leading cause of death and disability throughout the United States. It often affects children up to age 17 and elderly adults ages 65 and older. However, anyone can sustain a brain injury, despite being in good health.

Our attorneys have seen the significant long-term impact brain injuries can have on victims and their families. Lives are altered, sometimes permanently, due to a single incident.

That’s why it is crucial that we advocate for brain injury survivors not only in the courtroom, but also throughout our community. We enjoyed taking part in the BIAWA event and we look forward to participating again next year.
